Privacy Policy

By adding TriviaSphere to your Discord server or using the bot, you agree to this Privacy Policy. We collect only what we need to run the service and never sell your data.

What we collect

Discord User ID	Link scores, Orb balances, and powerups to the right player
Game scores and Orb balances	Power leaderboards and the in-bot economy
Guild configuration	Trivia channel, category filters, role rewards, schedules
Entitlement records	Track active Premium subscriptions
Vote logs	Record top.gg votes to grant Orb rewards

We do not collect or store message content or message history. Answers typed during a trivia game are matched in real time and immediately discarded.

How it is stored

All data is stored in a MongoDB database hosted on MongoDB Atlas (AWS). Data is namespaced by guild — one server's data is never mixed with another's.

Retention

• Per-guild config and player data are kept while the bot is in your server.
• If you remove the bot, you may request full deletion by contacting us. We will process it within 30 days.
• Vote logs are purged automatically after 30 days.

Who can access it

Only the bot operator has database access. We do not sell, share, or transfer data to third parties except as strictly necessary to operate the service.

Third-party services

• Discord — The platform the bot runs on. Your Discord usage is governed by Discord's Privacy Policy.
• top.gg — If you vote for TriviaSphere, top.gg sends us your user ID to grant your Orb reward.
• MongoDB Atlas — Our database host. See MongoDB's Privacy Policy.

Children

TriviaSphere does not knowingly collect data from users under 13. Contact us if you believe a minor's data needs to be removed.

Changes

We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
